The Study of the latest Surgical Treatment of Intrahepatic Stones.

Abstract
|
|
|
The surgical analysis of 71 patients who had been treated surgically for Intrahepatic stones, in the department of surgery, Chungnam National University Hospital was performed for 5 years from January 1989 to December 1993.
@ES The results were as follows :
@EN 1. The immediate overall success rate of complete stone removal were only 33.3% respectively for the patients who has been treated bypass surgery such as choledochoduodemostomy and cholecystojejunostomy
2. The complete stone clearance rate had reahed 75.0% by hepatotomy and 76.9% by hepatic lobectomy respectively.
3. For the better management of intrahepatic stones, it is necessary better organized multidisciplinary treatment incorporating surgery, medical therapy, Interventional radiology and Technology.
